Saabsunited meldt dat diverse bronnen hebben gemeld dat de Saab 9.3 die bij Nevs gebouwd gaat worden volledig GM-free zou zijn.
Men meldt ook dat nog niet duidelijk is of de produktie bij Nevs van start gaat met een electrische of een conventionele Saab 9.3:

Several sources have indicated to us that the restart version of the 9-3 is completely free of GM parts. Considering the amount of parts shared with GM in the 9-3 built under Saab Automobile AB, the replacement of all these parts, from other suppliers tells the tale of a very impressive achievement by the guys at NEVS.
If confirmed it essentially means that NEVS have shifted its production tools from some suppliers to others and perhaps even had to create brand new tools with brand new suppliers since some tools were used for parts for several different brands still alive within GM.
But the process is probably still not finished since we have had no firm confirmation that production will restart, just that the company is still aiming for a restart later this year. If this is with conventional cars or electric is not yet clear.
