Aha, ok.OK Magnus,
Thanks for your recommendations, over here we advise the same.
I have read and applied the recommendations from http://www.mitt-eget.com/saab/information_ccv_en.shtml
A pity that some dealers still stick to the 20.000 km oil change without checking if the car is used for city driving.
Would appreciate a translation to English on how to apply this new crank case vent kit.
I am a but puzzled about the arrows that are printed on some hoses. If this is the airflow direction, this would suggest that air is pushed into the filler neck instead of sucked out to the turbo inlet ?
Will buy a kit next time when I am at the dealer !
Greetings,
Troll fan
The arrows is just to get a image of how the hosing should be fitted. Has almost nothing to do with how the air cycles.. But when I look at it I see that the directions is almost correct.
S4 has an arrow the wrong way on the pictures http://nicce.se/~kling/saab/moddad1.jpg and http://nicce.se/~kling/saab/moddad2.jpg.
The correct way for S4 is from the oiltrap to the T-connector at S3. Because when the turbo charges it will create an underpressure on S3.. So gases is pulled from S1 to the oiltrap and then from the oiltrap to the turbo thru S4.
Right know I am in Trollhättan. The SAAB city. Doing some work. So I can´t get the correct pictures for editing. Will fix an english version this week.
Best regards,
Magnus
