Dit is het grote NEVS topic. Het gaat door waar een eerder Topic SAAB/NEVS II stopte. (viewtopic.php?f=10&t=137277&start=1155)

NEVS is National Electric Vehicles of Sweden, de nieuwe eigenaar van de SAAb fabriek in Trollhattan. Hoewel het SAAB dat wij kennen is geeindigd in het fallisement, is NEVS de drager van het SAAB-DNA, en staan er mannen aan het roer die het liefs nieuwe SAAB's zouden bouwen.
Het is al heel knap dat de fabriek er nog is en er zo'n 400 mensen werken. Met verschillende partners wordt gewekt, waarbij het uiteindelijke doel het bouwen van een (eigen) fantastische elektrische en/of hybride auto in de SAAB traditie is.
Als het zover is, en het ziet er goed uit, zal men ongetwijfeld de naar SAAB weer voor de auto's willen en kunnen gebruiken.
Dit topic is vor diegenen die willen weten wat er in de fabriek in Trollhattan gebeurt en diegenen die hopen dat SAAB als hybride of full EV herrijst, op het Phoenix platform.

Op de presentatie op het saabfestivalhttp://saabblog.net/2015/06/20/nevs-con ... ifference/ werd al gesproken over samenwerking die nog niet geopenbaard mocht worden, en dat is de TUBITAK gebleken. Wat volgt er nog meer?

Renesas and Nevs Partner to Promote Energy Technology in China's New EV Industry

Renesas Electronics and National Electric Vehicle Sweden (Nevs) today announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement. Utilizing Nevs' Phoenix architecture technology for electric vehicles and Renesas' technologies for new energy vehicles, the companies will join forces on the development of various system solutions targeting China's new energy vehicle market. In accordance with this newly established partnership, Renesas and Nevs will officially launch the research and development (R&D) of electric vehicles and at the same time will embark on a joint project to develop business strategies for new energy vehicle market in China.
The signing ceremony was held on October 21, 2015 in Beijing, with Nevs, Chairman, Kai Johan Jiang, Vice Chairman, Stefan Tilk, Board Member, Wang Weihang, as well as Shinichi Yoshioka, Vice President, Deputy General Manager of 1st Solution Business Unit at Renesas Electronics Corporation in attendance.
The focus of this partnership is to build advanced automotive electronics technologies. The companies will engage in the development of high-end automotive control systems for new energy vehicles. This includes R&D of motor drive systems, automotive information systems, ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System), and safety control systems, and will also extend to the development of such new automotive applications as cloud-connected systems.
By collaborating from the two ends of the automotive industry chain, Renesas and Nevs aim to lead the development of safe, secure, comfortable and eco-friendly intelligent automobiles for the new energy vehicle industry.

NEVS has expanded the Board with former chairman of AB Volvo



NEVS has expanded the Board with Mr. Finn Johnsson, among else former chairman of AB Volvo. Nevs’ part owners, the Tianjin demonstration zone, THT, and the State Research Information Technology, SRIT are also new board members. Finn Johnsson has for many years held leading positions in international and Swedish business. Including as Chairman of the Board of AB Volvo and member of the board of Industrivärden, Skanska and other companies, as well as CEO of Euroc, Mölnlycke Health Care and United Distillers. Currently Finn Johnsson holds the positions as Chairman for The West Sweden Chamber of Commerce, Ovako, Thomas Concrete Group and several small businesses. “I am pleased to welcome our Chinese part owners to the Board. It is important for Nevs to have active owners with close support and transparency. Finn Johnsson’s broad experience in board work and management strategically strengthens the Board of Nevs in the development of the company”, said Kai Johan Jiang, chairman Nevs.

Vehicle testing at NEVS

After the announcement of cooperation with Turkey state agency TUBITAK, NEVS the company Nevs worked tirelessly on new projects.
Only occasionally, we get a glimpse at what they’re doing, thanks to posts on social networks. On Official Instagram account saabcarsofficial by Nevs almost daily publishes photos from manufacturing plants. There is no production but we still do some work – tests continue.
A few months ago, the former Saab blogger Steven Wade released several videos from the NEVS test center:

In de nieuwe Autovisie op pagina 8 en 9 onder het kopje "even geduld a.u.b." een uitvoerig artikel over de toekomst van NEVS/Saab. Ik moet zeggen goed en bondig verwoord door Olof van Joolen. Ik mocht daarbij aanwezig zijn en daar kan een ieder lezen wat er in de toekomst bij NEVS als eigenaar van de fabriek in Trollhattan gaat gebeuren. Ook over de naam "Saab" in de laatste alinea een zeer krasse uitspraak over het gebruik van de merknaam Saab waar denk ik vele forummers blij mee zijn.
Klein foutje in de tekst: NEVS is geen staatsbedrijf!

Mijn eerste reactie als kersverse saab bezitter
95% is bekende info als je de diverse fora volgt. Interessant is het laatste deel waar wordt aangegeven dat men de Saab naam mag blijven gebruiken omdat men de licentie voor het gebruik heeft. Voorwaarde is een goede business case zijn de laatste woorden.
