the Meeting in the Bavarian Forest is nearly booked out - only 3 bigger rooms left today.

There will be a former Rallydriver of the Saab Rally Works Team be with us at the Schnitzmühle - Simo Lampinen. He will make a little presentation of his time with Saab.

I also invited Erik Carlsson to the meeting but he will be not in Europe at the time of the meeting - he called me by telephone (a great honour for me).

Hi everyone,

for the Saab meeting in the Bavarian Forest, there are still only two bigger rooms/lodges (for 2 or 4 people) left.

Simo Lampinen will be at the Schnitzmuehle as a guest, he was rally driver of the Saab factory teams in the 60s and 70s.

Registered Saab models are: 95, 96, 90, 99, 900, 9000, I, 9-3, II 9-3, III 9-3, 9-5 I, II, 9-5, Sonett II, Sonett III and other rarities. The participants come from all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Daily visit is possible on Saturday afternoon at about 16.00 clock.

Hello to all Saabfans,

at the Saab meeting in the Bavarian Forest from 10 to 13 October 2013 in the Adventure Camp Schnitzmuehle in Viechtach were a total of more than 85 Saab `s with more than 150 participants and day visitors on site. Among all other Saabs, this really special vehicles were on display: Saab 93, Saab 96 two-stroke, Saab Sonett II V4, Saab Sonett III Saab Sonett III Convertible, Saab 9000 breakdown truck, Saab 9-4x, Saab 9-5 II SportCombi and many other Saab models from all model years. The guest of honor was former rally driver Simo Lampinen, a long-standing member of the Saab factory team and now a truly impressive brand ambassador. Thanks to all participants and supporters of the meeting. The proceeds of the meeting as the year before goes to the Saab Museum in Trollhättan. A detailed report on the meeting follows after reviewing the countless photos and videos of the meeting.

Donation to the Saab Museum

The meeting gets a surplus of just over 500 EUR - 500 EUR will be donated to the Saab museum in Trollhättan.

Coinciding with the meeting in the Bavarian Forest the Saab Slovakia session took place.

The meeting was also the last year premiere and was a great success. I had with Martin Pavelek and the President of the Saab clubs Slovakia and we had contact event. planned to organize a meeting of the two meetings - unfortunately, the distance was too far. Jost Engels, who was last year with his Saab 900 Red Arrow in the Schnitzmuehle was a guest, this year at the meeting in Slovakia. And Ruedi Solenthaler, this year the Bavarian Forest, was last year on the "session" as a guest. The Saab Slovakia session will certainly be back next year instead and is worth a visit.
